Greetings Eagle Family. Welcome to September! We are getting deeper into our band  season, and it is time to step up our game! This Saturday is our first big home game at Turner Stadium, and I need every student and parent locked in on the expectations below.

The Volunteer Standard: Concession Stands

• This is our first massive game at the stadium, and we urgently need parents to step up and volunteer to run the concession stands.
• Volunteering is an expectation in the band program. Think of this program like Little League baseball, where every family is expected to be a dugout parent for at least one game. We have the exact same standard here.
• Every single parent is expected to volunteer for at least 3 to 4 shifts throughout the competition season. We cannot operate this program without your heavy lifting. Please sign up to help us pull this off.
• Concession stands is REALLY FUN! It's not stressful at all. You meet new parents, and it's a fun experience.

Game Day Logistics: Cibolo Steele HS at Turner Stadium

• We are playing Cibolo Steele High School this Saturday at Turner Stadium.
• The official student call time is 1:15 PM this Saturday.

Academic Eligibility: The Week 4 Check

• We are currently in week four of the grading period, and I am seeing a lot of students struggling to keep their numbers up.
• The upcoming week-six report card completely dictates UIL eligibility for all band students. You must pass to perform.
• If you are falling behind, you need to step up and take responsibility. Come find me or any of the band directors. We are here to help you succeed, but you have to put in the work to get those grades up right now.
