APPLICATION FOR THE 2025-2026 LEADERSHIP TEAM IS NOW AVAILABLE!!
Application Deadline:
APRIL 17, 2025
The application and selection process for the leadership team is extremely rigorous and is designed to select the "inner circle" of the Atascocita High School Band program.
If you are interested in being a part of the AHS Band Leadership Team, you will begin the application process:
Part One: The Application
Once the application is submitted, you will then audition.
Part Two: The Audition
Leadership applicants who complete the form and successfully submit 5 teacher recommendations will get an interview with the directors.
It is a great honor to be a student leader in the Atascocita Band program. All leaders will lead by EXAMPLE, not by TITLE. Student leaders will exist to support the band directors and to serve the band program. Being a student leader is a very time-consuming role and will extend beyond just band practices. To serve on the band leadership team at Atascocita HS is not only a tremendous honor, but it is also a great responsibility that requires patience and training.
Students who are selected to be in the leadership team for the Atascocita HS Band are required to attend the SASI Leadership Training. We are fortunate that SASI brings their staff to our school to train our leadership team. The date for the SASI Leadership Training is located on the band calendar.
