All Atascocita High School Band Students Must Receive an Athletic Physical AND submit the online RankOne forms.
UIL and Humble ISD require all band students enrolled in the marching band to obtain a physical before participating in any marching band activities.
This is a two-step process. Let's go over them now.
Step 1: Submit a Physical Pre-screening form to the athletic trainers.
This form must be filled out by a physician and submitted back to the band hall office. This is a super important required step to participation in the marching band. Any band student missing this form will not be allowed to participate outside until they have it completed and turned in.
Carbon Care Health by Atascocita HS will do them for only $35! With or without insurance!

If you need a physical copy of this form (or are unable to print from the button above), come see the directors and we can provide you with one.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Atascocita Band Staff STRONGLY RECOMMENDS that all students get their physical done right here at HISD at our school's own physical day! Getting your physical done on campus means that the band staff will have it on file and you will be good to go for marching season. We experience a LOT of issues with students trying to get a physical done at their own doctor.
If you missed that day , you will be responsible for getting it done yourself.
Common problems with getting the physical done somewhere other than with our school district:
More information will release soon on the time and date of the physical screening for Humble ISD athletes and band students.
Perhaps the biggest problem with getting your physical on your own is having your band directors worry all summer about whether or not it is getting done and whether or not you will be at practice on the 1st day!

Common problems with getting the physical done somewhere other than with our school district:
- Incorrect forms
- Incomplete forms
- More Expensive
- Not completed on time for summer band to start
- Missing pre-screening documents
- Even if you get a free physical once per year on your insurance, there is usually a Co-Pay and scheduling a Dr.'s appointment is extremely tricky in this new Covid-19 and Vaccination environment.
